From a second Beechworth site sourced by Rick Kinzbrunner, this Shiraz channels the Northern Rhône — violet, black pepper, smoked meat, and tightly structured tannins. Fermented in tank before aging for 22 months in French oak, then finished in the underground granite maturation cave. Langton's Excellent classification. The antithesis of warm-climate Aussie Shiraz.
