The Woori Yallock site — behind the Waramate hills in the Upper Yarra, on red volcanic and grey loam soils — produces Mac Forbes' most celebrated Chardonnay. Fermented wild in small old barrels, unfined and unfiltered, it delivers pristine purity and intensity with beautiful texture. The Ferguson Vineyard within Woori Yallock, leased since 2012, is the finest expression of this site.
