From the founding 1988 plantings of Bill Dhillon — Bindi's original block. Ethereal redcurrant and strawberry aromas, sweet and supple textural precision and chiselled mineral length. Winemaking is "unsophisticated, strictly non-interference but not uncontrolled" with 25-40% new French oak depending on vintage. Langton's classified. The sister wine to Block 5, sharing almost identical winemaking but a different patch of the estate.
