The mid-tier single-vineyard Shiraz from Eden Road's Murrumbateman estate. Cooler and more restrained than warmer-region expressions, with the characteristic Canberra District perfume and spice. Red and dark fruit, fine pepper and silky tannins from cool-continental nights. Part of Eden Road's argument that Canberra can produce Shiraz of Burgundian elegance as well as power.
